We stumbled upon a few adorable Easter bunny themed printables from our friends at Personal Creations. Just in time for a few last minute Easter activities with my toddler, who is extremely excited for Easter this year. These DIY Easter activities require just a home printer and a little imagination.
My three-year-old is super excited for “Mr. Rabbit” to come visit her this year. We’ve been doing the countdown for Easter for over a month, and now that the big day is just one sleep away I’m scrambling to get all our Easter bunny preparations in place.
We’ve gathered all of our Easter egg fillers for the big Easter egg hunt, pulled the baskets out of storage and ready to be filled with chocolate bunnies and other special treats, and even decorated eggs. When I found these adorable Easter printables we really stepped up our Easter game.
Follow along for a few simple, DIY Easter bunny activities that will surely create a magical morning for your little ones.
DIY Bunny Footprints
This idea is pure bunny magic. First, print out the footprint templates and cut long the dotted lines. Use the footprint stencil and a flour sifter to sprinkle a thin layer of flour onto the surface of your floor. Repeat across the floor to leave a bunny trail. Get the printable by visiting Personal Creations’ blog here.
This bunny footprint trail would be an awesome addition to your big Easter egg hunt. Just be sure to place any outdoor footprints onto dry surfaces.
Bunny Footprint Cookies
Using the same printable template, you can add Easter bunny paw prints to your favorite sugar or snickerdoodle cookies. Simply cut out the smallest footprint stencil and place over top of your cookies. Using a powdered sugar sifter, lightly sprinkle a layer of powdered sugar onto the center of the cookie. Carefully pull away the stencil and you’re left with super sweet bunny footprint Easter treats.
Carrot Poems for the Easter Bunny
Leaving out a healthy treat for the Easter bunny is such a fun idea for little ones. They will love being a part of his journey, by providing a much needed energizing snack. Take this idea one step further and leave out a special poem for the Easter bunny. These cute little poem tags can be easily attached to a cellophane bag. Leave them out the night before Easter for our special bunny friend.
“Mad Libs” Style Letter for the Easter Bunny
Leave a personalized letter for the Easter bunny this year to show him how much you appreciate his visit. Print and fill out this “Mad Libs” style letter for the Easter bunny. Be sure to leave this letter out with your little one’s Easter basket, or in a location that is reachable for a little rabbit. 😉
Time to hop to it, Easter is just around the corner. Hope you have fun trying out these ideas this year, I know we did!
Hoppy Easter! 🙂
